The purpose of this study is to compare different nitrogen rates and placements, utilizing Precision Planting’s Conceal® 2x2x2 system, and their impact on yield and profitability.

Heavy early-season rains likely led to additional nitrogen (N) loss. Shifting more n upfront did not pay off. Having more N in the sidedress pass was beneficial in 2019.
