The purpose of this study is to evaluate calcium and sugar placement with Precision Planting’s FurrowJet attachments to determine impact on yield and profitability.

2017 Central Illinois Soybean In-Furrow Placement Study - FurrowJet™

There was a slight advantage to the application of calcium and sugar through the center and wings of the FurrowJet™ system. Because these are low cost products, our profitability looked good this year. More testing with enough replications over multiple weather environments is needed to build a comprehensive data set.
