The purpose of this study is to evaluate the yield differences between different tillage practices in a corn after soybean rotation.

2017 Central Illinois Corn Tillage Study - Corn After Soybeans

The 9-year data from this study at the Central Illinois PFR site shows similar results between tillage practices in a corn following soybean rotation. The no-till plots are typically cooler and slower to dry out early in the spring, which could explain the slight yield drag we have observed over the years.
