V3 CANOPY COVERAGE BY IN-FURROW TREATMENT

The fast emerging product Phoenix® 5832A3**brand was evaluated alongside the slower emerging
BECK 6076SXbrand.

Early in the season, the starter with Ethos® XB showed greater growth and more canopy coverage when compared to the control (image below, graph on previous page).

The slower emerging variety showed no yield or ROI increase with the in-furrow applications while the fast emerging variety showed yield increases from all in-furrow treatments except that of starter + 1 pt. Serenade® ASO.

Regardless of these increases in yield and early season plant health, there was no increase in ROI this year.
