Planting Date Study

2020 Southern Illinois Soybean Planting Date Study - Fungicide Response

  • Southern IL

The purpose of this study is to evaluate various planting dates and how they impact the economic return of a fungicide application to determine if it pays to invest in a late-planted soybean crop.

2020 RESULTS

OBSERVATION

The PFR Proven™ practice of applying a fungicide at R3 continues to increase yields, even when planting is delayed. This demonstrates why it's important to be willing to invest in a crop despite delayed planting conditions.
