Frost Study

2020 Central Illinois Corn Frost Study

  • Central IL

The purpose of this study is to simulate frost damage at different growth stages to determine when replanting is necessary.

2020 RESULTS

OBSERVATION

The data from this location in 2020 was heavily affected by weather and in-season rainfall patterns. We can conclude that mowing frosted corn does not help.
