Backed by uncompromising yield potential and outstanding agronomic performance in all maturities, Beck’s lineup of XtendFlex® soybeans are built on the proven genetic performance of high-yielding Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans. Beck’s has a range of relative maturities still available in XtendFlex soybeans from 0.7 to 4.8. Check out these head-to-head comparisons of Beck’s XtendFlex soybean varieties against Pioneer’s Enlist E3® lineup.
By controlling weeds early with a pre-emergence application, farmers can protect their yields and reduce the likelihood of developing weed resistance. The over-reliance on POST programs to control early-emerging weeds is unlikely to provide results and could cause yield loss of up to 2.5% for every growth stage you delay your applications.
Beck’s multi-year Practical Farm Research (PFR)® data has demonstrated the impact and importance of utilizing a pre-emerge program with multiple SOAs. Figure 1 shows the visual control(%) on waterhemp populations when one to three SOAs are used in a pre-emerge application. Put the Power in the Pre® and let your pre-emergence applications do the heavy lifting.
The triple-stacked tolerance of XtendFlex® technology offers control of more than 335 weeds (more than any other soybean system available) and provides farmers with more ways to manage for higher yields.
When applied pre-emergence, XtendiMax® herbicide provides up to 14 days of soil activity on certain small-seeded broadleaf weeds while also offering an additional effective site of action (SOA). But a soybean is only as good as the herbicide system behind it, so developing an effective herbicide program is essential.
START CLEAN TO STAY CLEAN: Use an effective tillage program or an appropriate burndown herbicide at the labeled rate 8 to 10 days before planting.
POWER IN THE PRE™: Utilizing XtendiMax herbicide with VaporGrip® Technology (22 oz.), Roundup PowerMAX® (32 oz.), along with Valor® XLT herbicide (3 oz.) as a pre-emergence application provides the power farmers need to combat glyphosate-resistant grasses and broadleaf weeds with no plant-back restrictions. The low-volatility formulation of the XtendiMax herbicide will also provide significantly more soil activity compared to 2,4-D containing herbicides.
FREEDOM IN THE POST: With the freedom to utilize non-dicamba-based post-emergent herbicides and still achieve superior weed control, farmers can spray with confidence knowing they are good neighbors and good stewards. Making a post-emergent application of Roundup PowerMAX (32 fl. oz.) and Warrant® Ultra (48-65 oz.) when weeds are less than 4 in. tall, 21-24 days after planting, is an effective weed resistance management strategy without relying on dicamba.

Your success starts with the seed you plant, and no matter what, your soybeans will be protected by Beck’s base treatment at no additional charge.
Escalate® | Nemasect® | SDS+ works to suppress 14 types of diseases and insects. Plus, it has a polymer for improved flowability and plantability, making it one of the most robust seed treatment packages available.
In addition to the base treatment, Beck’s offers an optional upgrade treatment package that includes ILEVO® + TWO.O®, so you can select the level of protection that’s right for your operation.
