We identify and launch soybean products on a regional level based on factors like disease tolerance, geography, and soil types. From east to west and north to south, soybeans perform differently across environments. Standability and White Mold are among the most important criteria when selecting in the West while emergence, sudden death syndrome, and stress tolerance have a stronger focus in other areas. Recognizing these regional differences allows us to deliver additional yield on your farm.

Factors For Regionally Selecting Soybeans

  • Standability
  • Sudden Death Syndrome
  • Brown Stem Rot
  • Emergence
  • Frogeye Leaf Spot
  • Phytophthora
  • White Mold
  • Stress Tolerance
  • Iron Deficiency Chlorosis
  • Soybean Cyst Nematode

Beck's Freedom Plus soybean series provides tolerance to glyphosate and Liberty® herbicides through the LibertyLink® GT27 trait stack. The Freedom Plus series will provide farmers with access to several key benefits in the fight against weed resistance.

Whether farmers are complementing their current Beck's LibertyLink® or glyphosate acres, or looking for the broadest and most effective weed resistance management system, they now have another high-yielding option with Beck's Freedom Plus soybean series.

Beck's Freedom Plus Soybean Series Benefits

  • 3.5 Bu./A. Genetic Yield Advantage.* Beck's Freedom Plus soybean series is comprised of the highest yielding soybeans in the industry. When compared to industry Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans, Beck's Freedom Plus soybean series out-yielded the industry by 3.5 Bu./A.
  • Broadest Spectrum Weed Control. Farmers will have the freedom to tackle weed resistance with both glyphosate and Liberty® herbicides for in-season spray applications.
  • No Buffer Restrictions. Farmers will enjoy the freedom of spraying fence row to fence row without any setbacks. Both herbicides are known for their safety and their ability to stay on target. No buffers and no borders.
  • Nematode Protection. Farmers will have additional nematode control delivered through NEMASECT in Beck's Escalate® seed treatment.

Enlist E3™ soybeans offer the most advanced trait technology available in soybeans, providing a new standard for weed control and yield performance.

Enlist Fact Sheet

With Enlist E3 soybeans, the three tolerances —2,4-D choline, glyphosate and glufosinate — combine to deliver a complete system with more weed control options.

Using multiple herbicide modes of action in a program approach helps control weeds in the current growing season while limiting the ability for herbicide-resistant weeds to develop. Enlist E3 soybeans give farmers the flexibility to employ multiple herbicide modes of action.

  • Herbicide Tolerance: Enlist E3™ soybeans provide tolerance to 2,4-D choline, glyphosate, and glufosinate, allowing you to use Enlist Duo® or Enlist One™ herbicides for effectiveness on a wide variety of broadleaf weeds, including glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth and waterhemp.
  • Wide Window of Application: Enlist E3™ soybeans have no plant-back restrictions after using an Enlist™ herbicide for burndown*** and can be sprayed up to the R2 growth stage (full flower).

Beck’s is pleased to offer farmers another solution in the fight against weed resistance. The herbicide XtendiMax™ with VaporGrip™ technology is now approved by the U.S. EPA for in-crop use with Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans.

With multiple modes of action, farmers will have more choices for the broad control of weeds - especially glyphosate-resistant and tough-to-control broadleaf weeds - as well as application and planting flexibility.

By combining innovative trait technologies and herbicide options, the Roundup Ready 2 Xtend Crop System will help maximize weed control and increase yield potential. Through constant innovation and testing of different herbicide options and advancements such as XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology or Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology farmers have products to count on year after year. Upon regulatory approvals.

Control of glyphosate-resistant broadleaf weeds such as Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and marestail, along with other tough-to-control broadleaf weeds such as lambsquarters and velvetleaf.

Up to 14 days soil activity for small-seeded broadleaf weeds, including waterhemp, lambsquarters and Palmer amaranth, to help primary residual herbicides keep fields clean through canopy. Results may vary, depending on rainfall and soil type. Dicamba should always be used with a recommended primary residual product.

Extended application flexibility of dicamba to before, at and after planting.

ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS FOR USE ON PESTICIDE LABELING. IT IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL AND STATE LAW to use any pesticide product other than in accordance with its labeling. NOT ALL formulations of dicamba or glyphosate are approved for in-crop use with Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans. ONLY USE FORMULATIONS THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY LABELED FOR SUCH USES AND APPROVED FOR SUCH USE IN THE STATE OF APPLICATION. XTENDIMAX® HERBICIDE WITH VAPORGRIP® TECHNOLOGY AND IN CROP USES MAY NOT BE APPROVED IN ALL STATES. Contact the U.S. EPA and your state pesticide regulatory agency with any questions about the approval status of dicamba herbicide products for in-crop use with Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans.

Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans
contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba. Glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Dicamba will kill crops that are not tolerant to dicamba. Contact your seed dealer or refer to the Technology Use Guide for recommended weed control programs.

ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW PESTICIDE LABEL DIRECTIONS. Roundup Ready® technology contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate, an active ingredient in Roundup® brand agricultural herbicides. Agricultural herbicides containing glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Seeds containing the LibertyLink® trait may be protected under one or more U.S. patents and may be planted only to produce one (1) commercial crop in a single season, and only after signing a BASF Grower Technology Agreement. It is illegal to save seeds containing the LibertyLink trait for use as planting seed or for transfer to others for use as planting

LibertyLink® GT27™ soybeans offer triple stack tolerance to Liberty, glyphosate, and, pending EPA approval, the first HPPD based herbicide for soybeans. LibertyLink GT27 is not tolerant
to all HPPD herbicides. HPPD herbicides currently on the market are prohibited for use with LibertyLink GT27 soybeans and may result in significant crop injury.

Varieties with the DuPont™ STS® gene (STS) are tolerant to certain SU (sulfonylurea) herbicides. This technology allows post-emergent applications of DuPont™ Synchrony® XP and DuPont™ Classic® herbicides without crop injury or stress (see herbicide product labels). NOTE: A soybean variety with a
herbicide tolerant trait does not confer tolerance to all herbicides. Spraying herbicides not labeled for a specific soybean variety will result in severe plant injury or plant death. Always read and follow herbicide label directions and precautions for use.
