Soybean farmers in our region have been battling Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) without a way to fight back, until now. We are proud to announce we are offering ILeVO®, a new seed treatment from Bayer CropScience, as the only solution for SDS that has activity against nematodes.
For years, SDS has plagued fields in soybean markets, causing massive destruction and detrimental yield loss. We are excited to present our customers with the opportunity to add ILeVO to Beck’s Escalate yield enhancement system, providing you with unmatched protection and the confidence in knowing that for the first time this spring your soybeans will be protected against SDS, nematodes, insects and other fungal diseases.
In multi-year data from 2011 to 2014, ILeVO showed a 5.4 Bu./A. average yield advantage on 190 SDS trials across the United States. ILeVO offers protection against two of the top five yield robbing soybean pests, SDS and Soybean Cyst Nematodes (SCN). Symptoms of both diseases are not unique to the cause and often times are not visible early on. ILeVO’s success lies in its ability to protect the root zone, prevent early seedling infections, and reduce the intensity of SDS foliar symptoms.
ILeVO can be added to Beck’s Escalate yield enhancement system for an additional $14.95 per unit. For more information, or to place an order, call 800.937.2325. Please note that the deadline to place an order for ILeVO treated soybeans is March 1, 2015.
We are looking forward to a successful soybean season!
