In this PFR Report, Beck’s Practical Farm Research (PFR)® agronomist, Travis Burnett, introduces Nitrogen Sealers. Beck's PFR has continued to test Nitrogen Sealers over the last four years to evaluate their effect on nitrogen (N) retention and yield. Nitrogen sealers are a pair of coulters that attach to the sidedress bar behind the knife. The coulters pull soil over the trench opened by the knife, sealing the opening and holding in N that could otherwise volatilize.
John Miller from Nitrogen Sealing Systems joins Travis in this video to share more about what Nitrogen Sealers do and how they work. John also introduces his latest product. Check out this video to learn more.
