It’s time for a rest stop. And if you’re like me on a long road trip, you need time to stretch your legs, grab a drink of water, and maybe even an ice cream cone. It’s been six years since I became a graduate of Purdue University. Since then I’ve traveled more times than I can remember, moved to two different states, changed jobs three times, encountered numerous challenges, and had some of the best moments of my life.

What is it about a southern farmer that just makes them entirely charming? Is it their southern drawl, laid back personality, or how they never make you feel like a stranger? It was the first Saturday in April when I traveled 5 ½ hours south to visit Mark Thomas of Princeton, KY.
