The planting pass is one of the most impactful decisions a farmer has to make in a growing season. So how can you make the best planting pass to set the foundation for achieving the greatest crop success? Planting corn and soybeans in ideal environments, on the most optimum planting date is one way to accomplish that. In this video, I am joined by Brandon Somers, KY PFR Location Lead, as we discuss corn and soybean planting date and replant study findings from the 2020 Practical Farm Research (PFR)® Book. Our data has shown that planting early is a PFR Success Strategy for both corn and soybeans. Check out this video to learn more about making the most profitable planting pass and when a replant decision can be profitable!
