Indiana PFR Update - Hail Event Studies & Replant Spotting-In Studies

Collin Scherer, Atlanta, Indiana, Practical Farm Research (PFR®) Location Lead, is excited to share highlights from his favorite PFR corn and soybean studies of 2021 – the Hail Event Study on corn & the Replant Study – Spotting-In on soybeans! In the Hail Event Study, PFR is trying to understand the effect a fungicide application has on hail-damaged corn. In the Replant Study - Spotting-In, PFR is attempting to discover what the most economical decision is to do in a field of thin-stand soybeans: keep the stand or plant the stand (and at what seeding rate).
