"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)

"The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me." (John 17:22-23)

There is nothing like the warmth of a wood fire. Inside or out, wood produces such a warm heat. The bright red glow of the coals or embers close together creates a roaring campfire or a fire in the fireplace. When it is time to let the fire die out, we can speed the process by separating or spreading the remaining coals and embers away from each other. Together, along with wood, they produce fire and desired warmth. Apart, they become weak, produce little heat, and soon become ash. There is strength in unity. Jesus speaks of the ultimate unity as that of man being one as He and God are one. The unity of faith is not bound by physical presence. Even though the Body of Christ is spread throughout our communities and the world, and we worship together or virtually, our strength remains, as each of us remains strong in our faith. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:35-39
