Agronomy Update

Published on Wednesday, September 1, 2021

Field Agronomist Luke Schulte is evaluating a new fungicide study at the London, Ohio Beck’s Hybrids Practical Farm Research (PFR®) site. Luke highlights the different timings PFR is testing out this year with the corn fungicide Xyway™ LFR®. This fungicide was tested in a 2x2x2 application and in-furrow. Xyway LFR claims to provide protection from Northern Corn Leaf Blight, Gray Leaf Spot, and Fusarium. Learn about how early season corn fungicide applications worked compared to applying fungicides in a typical post-tassel application. Watch as Luke reviews this new fungicide’s performance throughout the growing season.
