During cool, wet springs, seedling diseases are common and depending on the duration of the adverse weather, plants may struggle with emergence. This is where Beck’s Escalate™ yield enhancement system comes into play. Beck’s is continuously working to make this seed treatment the best in the industry by testing new biologicals, fungicides, and insecticides on the market.

AMPLIFY-D®

Amplify-D is a dry-added seed treatment that has shown an average yield increase of 3.7 Bu./A. over four years of testing. Amplify-D is an emergence aid used at a 2 oz. rate/50 lb. seed that provides an additional amount of adenosine mono phosphate (AMP), an energy sourse that is naturally found in seeds. AMP is a building block of adenosine triphosphate, an energy source used for processes such as photosynthesis.

ESCALATE® | NEMASECT® | SDS+

While every bag of Beck's seed comes treated with Escalate, soybeans can also be uptreated with Escalate | Nemasect | SDS+.

Escalate | Nemasect | SDS+ protects against a broad range of insects and diseases including Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS), which is caused by the soil-borne fungus Fusarium virguliforme. This disease can cause a range of yield loss from slight losses up to 100 percent. Early symptoms may appear viral, but the notable symptomology later in the year is necrosis, which occurs between the veins on leaves (left). This will lead to premature defoliation and pod abortion.
