Agronomy Update: Fungicide Use in Corn

Published on Tuesday, June 26, 2018

The corn in my area is at, or approaching, the VT growth stage with plants starting to tassel.

It's typically this time of year that I often get a lot of questions regarding fungicides. Some of these questions include:

  1. When should I scout for disease?
  2. Where should I look for disease?
  3. What level of disease needs to be present to validate a fungicide application?
  4. What products should be used?
  5. Should an insecticide be used in conjunction with a fungicide?

For answers to all these questions and more, check out the video below.
