All of our hay is being tested by Dairy One Forage Labs out of
New York, and for the last few years Beck's alfalfa has been the
highest testing hay we have ever raised! We sell all of our hay to
cattle farms and a few small horse farms, and our customers have
told us that they even see a difference in our product that we sell
them now. SummerGold has been our highest yielding product here lately, averaging around 6.5 to 7 tons per cutting. We're
looking forward to fall planting some of the new Charger alfalfa, and with the replant policy it makes it easier to feel more
comfortable with planting into dryer conditions than normal this year!
