Beck's Hybrids

April 18, 2014

Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks held the first in her series of Connecting Careers and Classrooms (CCC) events at our Beck's Hybrids headquarters yesterday. The CCC initiative gives members of the business and education communities a chance to discuss career opportunities in vital Hoosier industries. The first event focused on agribusiness and included industry representatives from Beck's Hybrids, Red Gold Tomatoes, JBS United, POET Biorefining, National FFA Organization, Precise Path Robotics , City of Anderson and Gaylor Inc, along with many community organizations.

Guests heard from industry speakers on what jobs and internships are available and how students can prepare for these opportunities, took a tour of Beck's Hybrids facility, and participated in Q&A sessions.

Thank you to all who attended and to Congresswoman Brooks for selecting us to host the inaugural CCC event! We hope everyone enjoyed the day and gained some valuable information about opportunities in agribusiness!
