In 1937, Francis Beck and his father Lawrence, started Beck's Hybrids with the goal of providing superior products to their friends and neighbors. Today, Beck's continues this pursuit in the area of Quality Trait Products.

Roger Levy, Ph.D., serves as Beck's Quality Traits Research Manager. Dr. Levy is currently working to develop and select profitable Quality Trait Products.

The overall effort of the QTP team has brought farmers the benefit of having over thirty BECK Brand products on the premium lists of over thirty grain buyers throughout Beck's marketing area.
