A. Purpose and Scope
    This is an advanced level position in the Production Department which requires experience in crop production, preferably with Beck's Hybrids.
    These employees have a developing knowledge and skill set in specific production functions. This position reports to an assigned supervisor,
    but ultimately to the Production Manager.

B. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Beck's farm equipment as directed by the Production Manager or other designated persons
• Maintain Beck's equipment assigned to operate according to suggested service intervals
  
• Assist in repairs and maintenance of all Beck's equipment as assigned
  
• Maintain accurate records of operations performed in assigned projects. This also applies to repairs and maintenance of equipment.
  
• Operate commercial motor vehicles as directed by the Production Manager or its designee, where applicable
  
• Perform other production, processing, dock, and delivery functions as may be required by the Production Manager
• Perform general farm duties and general seed duties as needed
  
• Perform any other jobs necessary to help make Beck's operation a success

C. Job Requirements

• Education and Training
  • High School Diploma or GED
• Technical Knowledge
  
  • Basic knowledge and skills of farming
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Computer skills are preferred
  • CDL or Chauffer License are preferred
• Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year experience on farm equipment operation and production of seed corn and soybeans
