A. Purpose and Scope
    This position evaluates wheat and soybean products and recommends the best products to introduce into Beck’s portfolio for sales to the customer.

B. Responsibilities

• Evaluate wheat and soybean products throughout the growing season on many agronomic characteristics
• Evaluate replicated and strip tests conducted by Beck's Hybrids as well as originator plots and genetic supplier plots
• Evaluate data from all sources to investigate the best products for release to customers
• Attend genetic supplier field days and interact with suppliers as needed
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the Director of Research and Research Operations Manager

C. Job Requirements

• Education and Training
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an agricultural related field
• Technical Knowledge
  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong agronomic skills
  • Possess positive attitude
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work as a team member, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Basic computer and current software skills
• Experience
  • Five (5) or more years experience with product evaluation, selection and promotion
