Planting Date Study

2017 Ohio Soybean Planting Date Study

  • Ohio

The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum planting date window by planting multiple dates throughout the growing season.

OBSERVATION

The data in this study does not match our historical planting date data. In the past, we’ve seen our highest yields with the earlier planting dates. However, this year we observed Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) in our first planting date which negatively impacted our final yields.
