A. Purpose and Scope
    This position is responsible for processing, treating and packaging seed corn for sale by Beck's.

B. Responsibilities

• Follow directives of the El Paso Production Manager and the Processing Manager concerning scheduling and processing
  corn products
• Operate and supervise the operations of the processing equipment in the corn plant
• Operate and supervise the operations of the seed treaters in the corn plant
• Supervise the bagging line and its operator(s)
• Communicate to the corn plant staff daily directives
• Report ongoing status of operations to the Processing Manager and the El Paso Production Manager
• Report to the El Paso Production Manager or their designee on supply needs to continue operation of the plant
• Aid in implementing and following quality control standards in the processing, treating and packaging of products in the
  El Paso Corn Plant
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the Processing Manager or El Paso Production Manager

C. Job Requirements

• Education and Training
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical Knowledge
  
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Basic computer and current software skills
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations
• Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience operating corn processing, treating and packaging equipment
